This fight isn’t just yours, it’s ours.

Our mission is to improve the accessibility and quality of mental health and substance use services through advocacy with local, state and federal policy-makers, education of the public, and promotion of research-based practices among providers. We pursue our mission supported by a culturally and geographically diverse board of directors; following research into the prevention and treatment of mental illness; partnering with other mental health organizations, and through affiliation with the national association, Mental Health America.

Mental illnesses are brain-based conditions that affect thinking, emotions, and behaviors. Since we all have brains – having some kind of mental health problem during your life is really common. No matter what kind of mental health problem someone is facing, it is always possible to get better. If you think you’re experiencing a mental illness, try to find any kind of support earlier than later. Like other illness, treating mental illnesses early can help you get better faster.
